Historians:...Cruise Waikato's mission is to bring alive the magnificient Waikato River, by focussing on it's incredibly interesting history. We will be inviting guest speakers on a regular basis to share their knowledge, passion, insights and stories, about this iconic Waikato landmark.

Some speakers may be more knowledgeable about its Maori history and others about its early European history. While others may come from a more scientific perception and can share the knowledge about whats in the river....eg: its fish species and where they migrate to and from etc.

The applicant must have the ability to speak to a range of audiences from school chidren, to international tourists and deliverr their information in an interesting and informative manner.
